I’ve floated on rivers of lava

without a pilot, without a helm.

I’ve been crushed against rocky banks

hiding the screeches of my wrecks.

I’ve been shaken and beaten

by furious, malicious whirls

suffocating the shriek inside.

Sometimes I fought against

dangerous rapids,

sometimes I just let me bob,

then I headed to smooth waters.

After a so long struggle,

I’m almost safe……..

but silently alone
